The sub galleries show the wide variety of styles of paintings which I produce.  People visiting exhibitions often ask how many painters are represented and are quite shocked when we say ' only one '.

I was hugely flattered when the (then) President of La Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts said to me some years ago 'Mr Hancock, your traditional French landscapes are like the work of an old Master and your modern paintings like the work of an exciting, talented new artist'.  

I cannot keep on painting the same style over and over again. I have to keep  experimenting.
